They use Embedded Linux OS which is completely independent of PC platform, and more steady and reliable, than any others available. The DS Series IP Cameras use the latest TI DaVinci chip and Hikvision?s own patented H.264 video compression algorithm. Current DVR/DVS SDK and central station management software are compatible.
